In the screen print operation, solvent-based inks have been replaced with UV inks; thereby, reducing VOC's emitted into the atmosphere.

The inks used in the digital imaging operation are either UV inks or light solvent inks.

SBPI offers our customers some substrate offerings that are biodegradable alternatives to polystyrene and foam board. The majority of the substrates used in the offset printing operation are composed of recycled paper. Additionally, polystyrene scrap is returned to the mill for recycling.

In SBPI's offices and production facilities, set-back devices are utilized to reduce energy consumption for heating and air conditioning.
